Graduate Program
What we offer Graduates

Peabody has an ongoing commitment to Graduate development as we view today's Graduates as tomorrow's leaders in the mining industry. Our two year rotational program has been designed, to ensure our Graduates receive varied and challenging development across a broad range of business functions and mining operations. 

During the two-year program Graduates rotate sites approximately every six months gaining exposure to both Open Cut and Underground mining operations in Queensland and New South Wales. There are opportunities for international postings in the United States for our Graduates of The Year. 

We have a structured training program providing both on the job and off the mining job components. Ongoing review and feedback ensures that any development needs can be addressed through specialized training or work activities.

Training
Peabody Energy Australia also offers a broad range of training opportunities from on-the-job mining training to technical courses and leadership development programs. Training requirements are identified during annual performance reviews.

On starting work with the company, you will complete a comprehensive induction process, which explains the way business is done at Peabody Pacific and provides the information you need to work safely with the company.
